This set of books was inspired by the political climate that developed within the last couple of years in the U.S. The concept is “a glitch in the system”, this concept to reflects how damaged the political system is. As a way to visually represent the concept, famous American landmarks (Mt. Rushmore, Abraham Lincoln, and the Statue of Liberty) were chosen and glitched to further visualize the concept. To frame the names of the books, a dialogue box was used – like when one receives an error message on their computer. To maintain a very computerized visual, the colour palette was kept simple but still reminiscent of a digital world, and the fonts are what programming softwares use for coding.
